Job Title: Production Lead Factory Suzhou

As a Production Lead Factory Suzhou, you will be responsible for managing a team of Production Workers, several Production Units, and production processes to ensure the quality of products produced, production yield, and timeliness of deliveries.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a working environment that continuously improves the Health and Safety of workers, including identification and management of occupational risk, provision of information and training, review of performance, and provision of sufficient resources to maintain an effective H&S program.
  • Manage and deploy processes and standards with embedded quality into the way of working, including adherence to compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements as well as local laws, Philips General Business principles, and other policies.
  • Accountable for the preparation and execution of one or more manufacturing production processes to deliver safe, compliant, quality products and services to our customers.
  • Lead the production unit, related processes, and staff in the execution of activities that lead to world-class operational performance.
  • Ensure manufacturing performance, volume, quality, and cost goals are met by utilizing efficient methods and maintaining appropriate staffing levels.
  • Identify production capacity bottlenecks regarding own resources proactively and manage external (specialized) production capacity.
  • Assist with planning and directing an efficient layout of equipment and flow of materials, including preparation of investment plans.
  • Execute and/or support projects, goals, and metrics and drive continuous improvement efforts.
  • Initiate/sponsor production-dominated improvement projects. Represent the production function in cross-functional projects.
  • Responsible for performance feedback cycle and recruiting process of competence group. Increase technical knowledge of the team via facilitating knowledge transfer (e.g., mentorship, coaching).
You're the Right Fit If:
  • Degree in mechanical, electromechanical, industrial, or supply chain engineering or related field.
  • Lean expert to drive continuous improvement.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in industrial/manufacturing engineering/supply chain leading role.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in production-related role, medical industry highly preferred.
  • Understand regulatory and quality requirements of the healthcare industry.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
