Position Overview

Role Summary: We are looking for a seasoned Forecast Analyst to become a vital part of our dynamic Sales Management team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience as an Analyst within a global public organization, ideally within the automotive sector. In this capacity, you will concentrate on enhancing production efficiency through precise demand predictions and providing support across various departments.
Our company is at the forefront of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving innovations. You will collaborate with diverse teams to create effective forecasting models, scrutinize market dynamics, and guarantee timely product distribution to satisfy customer requirements. Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing forecast assessments for the market.
  • Tracking and predicting marketing and sales patterns.
  • Establishing KPIs to evaluate and enhance forecast accuracy.
  • Creating and executing sophisticated statistical forecasting models.
  • Examining consumer behavior to project potential sales of products or services.
  • Conducting thorough market analysis to identify industry trends, competitor actions, and other pertinent factors.
  • Reviewing and interpreting business and industry data, including financial statements and key performance indicators using data analytics tools.
  • Working closely with management, business development, sales, finance, marketing, and other cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Forecast Analyst in a global public company.
  • Industry experience in the automotive sector or Tier 1 suppliers is a plus.
  • A Bachelor's degree from a reputable university in Economics, Data Science, Industrial and Management Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong analytical and statistical capabilities with proven results.
  • Experience in producing process documentation and reports.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
-Proficiency in Excel and Business Intelligence tools (QlikSense, Power BI, etc.).
  • Familiarity with programming languages and tools such as SQL, Python, R is advantageous.
  • Process-oriented, well-organized, self-motivated, and quick to learn.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Fluency in both Chinese and English (written and spoken).
