Position Summary:
The Key Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets by independently managing assigned accounts or territories. This role is designed for individuals with a proven track record in sales, demonstrating effective selling techniques and consistently meeting or surpassing forecasts over time. The manager will primarily oversee their sales territory with occasional guidance and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs to efficiently meet sales objectives.
- Establish and manage comprehensive client profiles, ensuring high-quality service delivery to maintain client satisfaction.
- Address client complaints and oversee after-sales service to ensure client issues are resolved promptly.
- Collaborate with channel management to develop and manage distributor relationships, working effectively to achieve sales targets.
- Work closely with product and technical teams to introduce new products and solutions to clients, enhancing their value proposition.
- Gather market insights and communicate them to the company’s marketing and strategy departments to assist in adjusting market strategies and client solutions.
- Perform other related sales, marketing, and operational tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability in key account development and management.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience in distributor management.
- Quick learner with a high sense of responsibility.
