Plant Optimization and Focused Improvement Leader

Goodyear is seeking a highly skilled Plant Optimization and Focused Improvement Leader to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing organization, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of Plant Optimization and Focused Improvement initiatives across our global operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement Plant Optimization and Focused Improvement strategies to drive business results and sustain improvements.
- Lead the development and execution of contingency and recovery plans to improve plant KPIs and deliver business results.
- Coach and mentor plant pillar leaders and associates on cultural transformation and change management.
- Define and guide the execution of Focused Improvement strategies and provide training, coaching, and advising to create problem solvers throughout the plant.
- Conduct pillar audits to ensure adherence to the methodology and participate in the plant's Daily Management System to sustain improvement gains.
- Provide clear, concise, and direct feedback to Plant and Regional leadership on successes and challenges to replicate and sustain improvements.
- 3+ years' experience in managing plant continuous improvement and Focused Improvement departments.
- Minimum of 5 years in leadership roles within manufacturing environments.
- Working knowledge and/or experience in implementing Lean principles in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in leading/teaching and mentoring projects across multiple sites and driving change management initiatives.
- Additional experience in manufacturing (Production Specialist or Business Center Manager) is recommended.
- Ability to work across all levels of the organization, including hourly workers through executive management.
- Knowledge of establishing, monitoring, and rewarding based on output standards.
- Expert knowledge of Focused Improvement, Six Sigma Methodology, and Master Black Belt.
