Responsibilities:
We are looking for a proactive and inquisitive QA Specialist who embraces responsibility for ensuring the quality, usability, and performance of our products. You should take pride in delivering exceptional work.
Your key responsibilities will include:
● Collaborating closely with a cross-functional development team, including designers, product managers, and developers, to ensure our products meet the highest quality, reliability, and security standards.
● Planning and overseeing all stages of the quality assurance process, developing and executing test plans, identifying and isolating defects, filing bug reports, and conducting regression tests for all releases.
● Creating, maintaining, and enhancing a testing knowledge base while implementing testing methodologies, strategies, and best practices within the fintech sector.
● Developing, reviewing, and approving test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures that contribute to the overall testing framework for our client-server applications on iOS and Android (both frontend and backend).
● Working with development and product teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality releases.
● Documenting, isolating, reproducing, and tracking defects using tools like Jira or similar.
● Managing test data necessary for automated test scenarios and supporting other teams with their test data needs.
● Generating and presenting testing metrics and reports to effectively communicate test status.
Qualifications:
● Significant testing experience with consumer-facing mobile applications (native iOS and Android).
● Proven expertise in mobile development and delivery.
● Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and perform under pressure.
● High proficiency in exploratory testing.
● Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
● Excellent communication skills and a willingness to be an integral part of our team.
● Critical thinking skills and a passion for quality assurance.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience in organizing, creating, and executing test cases with third-party providers (payment/card schemes).
● Familiarity with Agile development processes.
● Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends in mobile application testing.
● Experience working within a cross-functional development team.
● Proficiency with TestRail or similar test case management tools.
● Experience with traffic monitoring/interception tools, such as Charles, Fiddler, Burpsuite, etc.
● Basic SQL scripting skills for database interactions.
● Experience in analytics and localization testing.
● Familiarity with API testing and developing API testing strategies.
● Knowledge of GraphQL, microservices, and version control tools.
