About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Engineer to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a Software Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing test automation tools and integrating them with our CI/CD pipeline. You will work closely with our game development teams and QA team to ensure that all requirements are met.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test automation tools and scripts to ensure high-quality game releases.
- Collaborate with game development teams and QA team to identify and prioritize testing needs.
- Design and implement efficient testing strategies to ensure game stability and performance.
- Contribute to the development of our quality strategy and processes.
- Work with our overseas tech and Quality Engineering teams to integrate and develop tools.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 1+ years professional experience as SDET or software development experience.
- Good hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitlabCI, Travis.
- Solid scripting skills in languages like Python, Shell Scripts, Ruby.
- Code competently in one of languages like C++, C#, Javascript, Java or Scala.
- Intermediate level proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Good communication skill, ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues effectively.
- Familiar with Lean/Agile development processes.
- Understanding of test automation and how to improve development processes.
