Job Opportunity

As a Software Engineer at MicroStrategy Incorporated, you will be part of a dynamic and innovative software development team that strives to deliver cutting-edge solutions for analytics, mobility, and actionable intelligence. Your role will be pivotal in enabling MicroStrategy products to leverage the latest advancements in AI, ML, Cloud, Containerization, and Web/Mobile technologies.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Drive innovation by harnessing the power of Generative AI and ML to create applications that redefine the future of analytics.
  • Collaborate with top-notch engineers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to translate ideas into elegant, game-changing software solutions.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software using languages like JavaScript, Java, Python, or C++.
  • Embrace the challenge of solving complex problems and troubleshooting real-world applications of the MicroStrategy AI/BI platform.
  • Stay at the forefront of technological advancements, learning about the latest tools, agile methodologies, and cloud-based frameworks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in at least one of the following languages: JavaScript, Java, Python, and/or C++.
  • Familiarity or experience with Containerization Infrastructures like Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Solid understanding of software development principles and methodologies (data structures, algorithms, unit testing, secure programming, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork and effective communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity or experience in AI and ML areas like LLMs, Prompt Engineering, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, LangChain.
  • Familiarity or experience with Cloud Infrastructures like AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Swift, Kotlin, Spring Framework, RESTful API, and/or database concepts.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
