HMI AD Experience Function Owner

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced expert to drive the development of our Autonomous Driving customer experience for Mercedes-Benz cars in China. As a functional owner in the AD Experience product team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of our product, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of our internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new product ideas to ensure future competitiveness of the Mercedes-Benz Chinese AD system, focusing on visualization, interaction, and promotion of functions.
  • Prepare and present these ideas to management and coworkers, including proof-of-concepts.
  • Collaborate with other function owners to integrate developed deliverables into projects and provide technical feedback on future products and platforms.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent).
  • Excellent knowledge of ADAS and navigation domains, preferably with internship experience in ADAS/navigation business with an OEM or internet company.
  • Internship as a software developer in ADAS development and/or navigation system development is a plus.
  • Relevant Linux/Android knowledge and experience.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment, Agile/Scrum methodology, and experience as Scrum Master or Product Owner is a plus.
  • Experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Software development quality methodologies, such as design review, code reviews, continuous integration, regression testing, and static code analysis.
  • Fundamental knowledge of project management methodologies, e.g., project plan, risk analysis, and so on.
  • Self-responsibility, team player, and good communication skills.
  • Fluency in Chinese and English.
