Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing GCP components and frameworks, providing services for compliance analytics users. You will also maintain the framework/GCP architecture to support automated build, release, and IT controls.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of experience in an IT organization with Agile/Scrum environment
  • Familiarity with English environment
  • Advance knowledge of cloud architecture & services (preferably GCP)
  • Agile development principles (Scrum, Kanban, MVP)
  • Familiarity with project management and comprehension tools such as Maven and Gradle
  • Deep understanding of the methodology of CI, CD, and DevOps
  • Proficiency on Google Cloud Platform – Must be enough to handle challenges and build apps on GCP independently
  • RHEL administration
  • Bash/shell scripting
  • Python development/JupyterHub
  • Hadoop/Spark
  • Proficiency on Automation toolset (Airflow, Terraform, Ansible or Saltstack)
  • Jenkins 2
  • Git tools

Desirable Skills

While not essential, the following skills would be beneficial:

  • GCP certified
  • DevOps principles & tools (like Jenkins/Ansible/Terraform etc., also GitHub/JIRA/Confluence etc.)
  • Machine learning knowledge
  • Excellent English communication (verbal, written, email) Ability to explain complex ideas
  • Ability to work in a team that is located across multiple countries/regions
  • Willingness to adapt and learn new things
  • Takes ownership of tasks
