Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at GK International. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing construction activities related to WHP contracts and ensuring compliance with safety procedures and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage construction activities related to WHP contracts
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards
  • Supervise contractors and ensure proper coordination between pre-fabrication/fabrication and installation activities
  • Coordinate with sub-contractors and ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards
  • Review and monitor the availability of drawings, specifications, job instructions, material deliveries, and tools
  • Motivate and oversee the site supervision team
  • Monitor contractors' daily and weekly progress and work plans in accordance with the overall planning schedule
  • Inform the Construction Superintendent and Head of Construction on specific areas where the program deviates from approved construction schedule and propose mitigations
  • Responsible for monitoring contractors' labor resources in accordance with approved mobilization plan and report any deviation from the plan
  • Verify and coordinate the prefabrication and dispatch of Brown Field HUC and loose items in CTRs sites, liaise and coordinate with CPY offshore teams
  • Review contractors' construction schedules to ensure they include all required activities as realistic timelines, logical sequencing, and adequate resources
  • Ensure contractors' personnel have sufficient training and experience to carry out safe operations
  • Identification and follow-up of any Non-Conformance linked to Fabrication (NCRs) in close relation with the QA/QC Superintendent
  • Responsible for the execution of all types of piping prefab/erection and pre-com activities as per project spec and ITPs
  • Coordinate with Commissioning Team during pre-commissioning phase in close relation with the Pre-commissioning Superintendent/Coordinator
Requirements
  • Associate's or BS degree in a technical field or extensive natural gas/oil industry experience
  • Strong working knowledge of construction contracts, contractor ITPs/inspection procedures, and construction work sequences for topside
  • Professional experience (number of years): 15
  • Experience within project: (number of years): 10
  • Familiar with NOC and/or Total Energies General Specifications (GS) and international codes/standards (AWS, API)
  • Conversant with General Arrangement (GA) piping engineering design/shop drawings and P&IDs
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Capable of proposing adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
  • Ability to influence and encourage personnel
  • Good leadership skills and good communication skills
  • Good English level mandatory
  • Mandarin language is an advantage
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment
  • Skilled in using computer programs for word processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail communications
  • Familiar with ICAPs and Document Control software
