Senior Payroll Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team at Novo Nordisk A/S. As a key member of our payroll operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality and high-compliance delivery of payroll operations and audit management in assigned APAC countries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of regular and irregular payroll, tax, personnel cost budget, reports, and analysis in assigned APAC countries.
• Drive continuous improvement of payroll operations processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and leading implementation across functions.
• Develop and implement payroll process standardization across APAC countries, ensuring consistency and compliance with global standards.
• Lead major payroll/attendance system upgrade projects and technology improvement initiatives as a project manager, collaborating with cross-functional teams in multiple countries.
• Collaborate with the APAC payroll process expert to ensure the implementation of the global payroll strategy, driving business growth and excellence.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in payroll operations, payroll/attendance system management, and tax experience in a global company, preferably in China/Japan.
• Proven experience in payroll project management, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and drive process improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive business growth.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, with Japanese communication skills preferred.
