Job Title: High School Literature Educator

Shanghai High School International Division is seeking a highly qualified and experienced High School Literature Educator to join our team. As a key member of our English department, you will be responsible for teaching literature to high school students and contributing to the development of our curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach literature to high school students, including reading, analysis, and discussion of literary texts
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in teaching and learning
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or related field
  • Teaching certification or license
  • 2+ years of teaching experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
