Job Summary:

The Work Flow Coordinator/Kit Control will coordinate team members in the completion of daily tasks and serve as a technical and operational resource to the department. This role is accountable for monitoring the assigned team workflow on a daily basis to ensure all priorities are completed. The position is responsible for researching and resolving problems with samples, liaising with other departments when necessary, and working with counterparts to define processes and SOPs. This role will provide support to the Global Kit Production Management team and supervisors by communicating daily workflow issues and is responsible for actual resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate the ability to give clear and accurate instructions to the staff
  • Demonstrate the ability to multitask
  • Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems effectively
  • Identify and resolve workflow issues
  • Organize meetings with others to discuss workflow and pending issues to prioritize critical tasks
  • Directs and/or redirects team members to accommodate volume changes and client deadlines
  • Demonstrates flexibility by performing other duties as assigned
  • Completes and manages daily tasks (Work Flow Lead duties with Kit Control as backup)
  • Ensures Investigator Documents are associated and consolidated
  • Attends to 1st Floor Automation, including fault resolution and filling product
  • Ensures consumable material is ordered and placed into stock
  • Assists replenishment in times of need
  • Reduces operator stops by bringing totes, needed inventory, consumable supplies
  • Clears work out of stations when needed
  • Restocks deep catalog during break times
  • Other daily tasks as assigned
  • Supports departmental staff
  • Directs workflow of designated areas
  • Provides direction on problem-solving
  • Answers process questions
  • Informs management of extraordinary events and/or potential problems that may affect department productivity
  • Informs management of personnel issues
  • Safety
  • Adheres to established SOP and safety precaution guidelines
  • Information Systems
  • Responsible for submitting staff access requests
  • Performs computer functions as required by the position
  • Policies and Procedures
  • Follows Standard Operating Procedures
  • Regulatory Compliance
  • Generates an appropriate audit trail for all activities
  • Assists in sign-off of checklists, books, freezers, and refrigerators
