About the Role

In today's interconnected environment, establishing a meaningful relationship with your work is vital. We are seeking a Senior Engineer in RF Testing to contribute to our Outdoor Wireless Network (OWN) division, focusing on hardware solutions for automation testing systems related to Base Station Antennas and associated products. This role requires close collaboration with R&D engineers and production teams to outline test hardware specifications, design, construct, troubleshoot, and validate the hardware and fixtures of testing systems.

Your Contributions

  1. Design and develop comprehensive testing strategies for RF products, which include detailed test fixtures, procedures, and essential equipment for precise testing, while also creating, implementing, and maintaining testing software to assess RF product performance.
  2. Construct and uphold high-power RF test fixtures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and reliable low PIM performance, including the development of calibration plans and de-embedding procedures to guarantee test accuracy.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to finalize the design and production of test hardware systems.
  4. Troubleshoot and validate test systems to confirm the accuracy, stability, and usability of the testing hardware.
  5. Create embedded control programs for the control boards of testing hardware and provide hardware control interfaces (APIs).
  6. Investigate and resolve test hardware failures, offering technical support and continuous optimization.
  7. Produce and manage fixture documentation and drawings that are version-controlled, traceable, and reproducible for production lines.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  1. Demonstrated experience with RF hardware products.
  2. Expertise in utilizing and calibrating RF testing equipment and comprehending test parameters for RF and microwave products, particularly RF Connectors, RF Base Station Antennas, RF Filters, and RF Active Products.
  3. Solid foundation in designing and testing high-power, low PIM reliable test fixtures.
  4. Capability to architect, develop, and implement thorough testing plans, fixtures, and software.
  5. Bachelor's degree or higher in Automation or Electrical Engineering, with over 5 years of experience in test hardware design or automation.
  6. Exceptional communication and coordination abilities.
  7. Familiarity with testing equipment, methodologies, and specifications for these products.
  8. Knowledge of automation control, visual control, and related hardware devices (e.g., PLC, digital IO, AD/DA, MCU, I2C, SPI, etc.).
  9. Ability to integrate hardware and software to deliver a complete testing solution. Proficiency in C#, Python, and PLC programming is advantageous.
  10. Experience with ECAD tools for designing control circuits and mechanical drawings is a plus.
  11. Strong self-learning capability, with the ability to acquire new technologies and apply them in practical scenarios, such as integrating machine learning, AI, and testing hardware.
