Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior A&H Production Underwriter to join our China A&H underwriting team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading A&H related quotations, driving the end-to-end process from risk assessment to quotations, and collaborating with internal and external channels to achieve A&H business targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead A&H related quotations and drive the end-to-end process from risk assessment to quotations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external channels to achieve A&H business targets.
  • Work with internal functions to ensure quotation TAT are met.
  • Assist in defining and managing underwriting risk appetite towards A&H products within the China market.
  • Manage underwriting operational processes and utilize internal and external resources to improve and optimize underwriting operational efficiencies.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated underwriting experience, preferably with a focus on Group PA/Business Travel products.
  • Colleague degrees with underwriting/actuarial credentials are a plus.
  • Prior experience working in an insurance BD role is a plus.
  • Prior experience managing reinsurance quotations is a plus.
  • Experience working with different channels (Agent/Broker/Direct channels/Reinsurance brokers).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and bilingual environment.
  • Good presentation skills and comfortable with internal and external client presentations and frequent travels.
  • Self-starter and disciplined, comfortable working in a remote environment from time to time.
