Job Title: Senior Production Planning Manager for Mechanical Products

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Production Planning Manager to join our team at Bosch.

About the Role

This is a key leadership position responsible for planning and managing the production of mechanical products from initiation to delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Initiate financial and technical feasibility studies on potential incoming projects, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Lead and serve project teams, focusing on delivering results on time while ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Align technical requirements with leading plants and R&D centers within GE, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Track and assist in the process of Machining, Assembly & Testing release, ensuring seamless transitions and timely completion.
  • Establish supply chain modeling (SCMo) based on ramp-up demand, optimizing logistics and reducing costs.
  • Organize regular review meetings with project coordinators and management to report progress, escalate issues, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Complete Quality Gates (QG) documents as required, maintaining compliance and enhancing quality standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronic Engineering.
  • Fundamental knowledge in the development of mechanical products, including design, prototyping, and testing.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management, with a strong track record of delivering results on time and within budget.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or IAFT 16949, with the ability to implement quality control measures.
  • Participating experience in Agile development/improvement projects, such as CIP, 6-sigma, LEAN, Scrum, etc.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, innovative thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, with experience in VBA or Power BI an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and planning skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent written/verbal English, with regular communication with German colleagues and reporting to plant management.
Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $110,000 - $140,000, depending on location and experience.
