Facility Shift Technician

Corning is seeking a skilled Facility Shift Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility systems, including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities- Execute operating plans to achieve team objectives and ensure the safe and efficient operation of facility systems.
- Conduct daily patrols and monitor facility systems to identify potential issues and take corrective action.
- Respond to emergency situations and take prompt action to resolve issues.
- Build effective relationships with plant support groups and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Implement and document material, process, and equipment changes to ensure compliance with established procedures.
- Execute documented operating procedures and follow established document control protocols.
- Protect Corning's intellectual property and implement training and certification plans to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Implement PM/PDM activities to achieve facility maintenance performance and initiate improvement cases through plant-side activities.
- College degree or above in electromechanical, electrical, HVAC, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in facility systems operations, maintenance, or related field.
- High/low voltage electrician certificates, boiler operation certificate, and familiarity with FMCS & SCADA system and programming are preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience with energy management, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and programming.
