Job Summary

As a Material Planning Assistant Manager at PepsiCo, you will be responsible for delivering weekly/monthly material requirement planning by SKU by vendor by plant. You will work closely with production planning, demand forecasting, GP, plant buyers, QC, and vendors to minimize material write-off cost and balance cost, service, and quality. You will also be responsible for quick response on projects and reflecting those into weekly/monthly material planning to better support business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate weekly material planning by SKU by plant by vendor based on weekly rolling FCST and production planning.
  • Work out short-term and long-term raw material planning to fulfill manufacturing needs.
  • Monitor and track Core PKG Material status to ensure on-time delivery in full, adjust delivery plan per plant's storage constraints and FG planning adjustment.
  • Join in PIPO project meetings and follow up related material procurement plan to ensure new product timely launch.
  • Support projects to timely adjust material plan, such as free tasting, MP, discontinuation, quality hold, packaging change, weigh out, etc.
  • Closely work with Supply Chain, GP, and Plant buyers, vendors to minimize raw material and packaging material write-off cost.
  • Material inventory control to balance cost and service as well as maximize the supply.
  • KPI & report tracking, review, and analysis for improvement.

Requirements
  • Deep business understanding skill, with good knowledge & expertise on supporting project.
  • Knowledge on SAP/ERP software, be familiar with SAP would be a plus.
  • Good computer skills in Microsoft Office software, especially need be expert on Excel.
  • Can negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and external groups.
  • Good problem-solving skill.
  • Detail-oriented with data accuracy.
  • Good communication skill and influencing skill.
  • Resistant to pressure & Good team cooperation spirit.
  • Fluent level of communication skills in English (both oral and written, CET 6 preferred).
