About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Category Manager to join our team at Maersk. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for managing indirect material categories involved in the 3PL industry, including consumables, equipment, and facility management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Proficient in indirect material categories and experience in category management and strategic sourcing.

2. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.

4. High sensitivity to cost management and expertise in cost-saving initiatives.

5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.

2. At least five years of working experience in the 3PL industry.

3. Good written and oral English communication skills.

4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

5. Excellent knowledge of sourcing and purchasing processes for indirect materials.
