Category Strategy Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Category Strategy Manager to join our team at AMEX. As a key member of our category management team, you will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage category strategies in alignment with AMEX business goals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive results.
- Manage a portfolio of suppliers within the category, driving supplier development and performance improvement.
- Analyze supplier and category performance to inform strategic decisions and drive business outcomes.
- Negotiate with suppliers to optimize performance and cost base, exclusivity, and other strategic initiatives.
- Lead a team of category specialists and provide guidance and direction to ensure successful category management.
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English.
- Proven track record of success in developing relationships with stakeholders and negotiating to drive business outcomes.
- Strong analytical mindset and data-driven approach, with experience working with complex data to develop commercial recommendations.
- Demonstrated success in building business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced level Excel and PowerPoint expertise.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Innovative problem-solving skills and experience working in an e-commerce or management consulting environment.
