Our Global Finance Trainee Program is designed to accelerate your career through a distinctive journey across various Finance sectors within Hitachi Energy. This program consists of three six-month assignments, including an international placement, culminating in a permanent role within our organization. Each phase of your journey will be customized to align with both your aspirations and the needs of the business.

Throughout this experience, you will engage with diverse business segments and seize opportunities for professional growth within our finance teams. You will receive ongoing support from the program team, mentorship from senior leaders, and structured career development initiatives. This program is ideal for individuals eager to enhance their leadership capabilities and acquire comprehensive business insights that will guide them toward a fulfilling long-term career in a global setting. You will connect with a vibrant community of fellow graduates, collaborating across various business units and countries, fostering a culture of support and shared experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in three six-month rotations within the Finance department, working under the guidance of the country CFO or senior Finance personnel, while undertaking diverse tasks and projects. Contribute value to our Accounting, Finance, Operations Control, and Project Control teams, aiding in the execution of our Finance Direction and Business strategy. Collaborate with global Finance teams to support our Finance Transformation initiatives, and deliver a personal project during your rotation that aligns with Hitachi Energy's strategic objectives. Gain insights into the operations of a Finance organization within a global enterprise, engaging in training and development activities to enhance your technical skills and understanding of departmental processes and goals. Complete assigned tasks, assist with daily operations, and develop your strengths through regular feedback and clearly defined performance objectives. Qualifications:

A Master's degree in business, finance, or a related field (to be completed prior to program commencement). Up to 18 months of relevant professional experience. Willingness to relocate for assignments, with relocation assistance provided. Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills. A commitment to learning new skills and openness to feedback. A positive outlook combined with an innovative and creative approach. Proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages are advantageous.
