Job Overview

A trade credit specialist plays a pivotal role in helping businesses navigate the complexities of global trade.

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a trade credit specialist, focusing on the Asia-Pacific region.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and interpret financial statements and credit reports to assess the creditworthiness of potential clients.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote AIG's trade credit solutions to key clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and develop innovative solutions to meet client needs.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, distributors, and other stakeholders to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide expert advice on trade credit risk management and mitigation strategies to clients and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in trade credit, banking, or insurance, preferably in the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Strong business acumen, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and delivering results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
