Job Summary:
1. Assist the plant manager in strategic planning and initiatives aimed at cost optimization.
2. Lead plant-focused projects, encompassing cost reduction, enhancement of efficiency in indirect processes, and sustainability initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the plant manager on business planning (including investments, headcount, budget, and improvement strategies), ensuring alignment with various departments and external partners.
2. Develop a strategy for reducing operational costs within the plant, creating a focused roadmap, and working closely with departments to implement initiatives related to productivity, lean methodologies, material flow, and digital transformation.
3. Spearhead efficiency enhancement projects in indirect areas using LEAN principles and digital solutions, collaborating with teams in manufacturing, quality, and logistics to boost indirect productivity. This includes defining project roadmaps, monitoring sub-project progress, and leading key initiatives.
4. Implement short-term action plans to help the plant meet its objectives regarding safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
5. Assist the plant manager in preparing KPIs and reports, continually seeking to enhance efficiency and effectiveness through LEAN practices and digital transformation.
6. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by superiors.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Production Management, or a Master’s degree in Economic Management is preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in lean manufacturing or project management, preferably within the automotive sector.
3. Strong communication and presentation skills, with a structured, logical, and systematic approach to problem-solving.
4. Proficient in project management tools, including PowerPoint, Power BI, and Excel.
5. Ability to work independently and demonstrate proactivity.
6. Open-minded, results-driven, and ambitious.
7. Proficient in both spoken and written English.
8. Experience in project management at the plant or business unit level is preferred.
