About the Position

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced History Teacher to join our international high school in Foshan, Guangdong province. This is a full-time position starting from February 2024.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching History to high school students, ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience. They will also collaborate with fellow educators to develop and enhance the school's curriculum, assess and monitor students' progress, and provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers.

Responsibilities
  • Teach History effectively to high school students, promoting academic excellence and a love of learning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's curriculum, ensuring a cohesive and comprehensive learning experience
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing targeted support and feedback to ensure all learners succeed
  • Develop and maintain a supportive and safe learning environment, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture
Requirements
  • Master's degree or higher in History or a related field
  • Minimum of two years teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting
  • Teaching certifications preferred, but not required
  • Previous experience in an international school setting preferred
