Position Overview

As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth in the ocean freight sector. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success of our operations at Schenker China Ltd. (Wuxi Branch).

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate sales initiatives aimed at enhancing business development.
  • Address all incoming and outgoing sales inquiries and customer requests.
  • Expand new business opportunities while nurturing relationships with existing clients.
  • Proactively follow up on sales leads, ensuring timely responses and actions.
  • Manage routing orders efficiently, keeping customers informed of their status.
  • Ensure prompt responses to all RFQs (requests for quotations), bids, and tenders.
  • Generate high-quality sales leads and maintain regular follow-ups.
  • Update pricing structures to safeguard profit margins as directed.
  • Conduct regular meetings with the sales team to share market insights and improve selling techniques.
  • Facilitate joint customer visits and calls with sales, operations, and management teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive and current customer profiles.
  • Provide monthly reports on import business development and market intelligence.
  • Undertake special projects or duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a foreign freight forwarding company.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
  • Strong understanding of international trade, including relevant laws, regulations, processes, and procedures.
