Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mathematics Educator to join our team at an international high school. This role involves engaging with students in a dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead instruction in IGCSE and A-level Mathematics courses.
  • Design and implement weekly lesson plans, along with providing recaps of prior lessons.
  • Prepare thoroughly for each class and ensure timely feedback on homework.
  • Act as an academic mentor for a specific group of students.
  • Engage in supervision, extracurricular activities, weekend events, and evening study sessions as needed.
  • Assist in promotional activities and school events, which may include conducting sample classes.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly with students aged 14-18.
  • Proficient in delivering lessons in fluent English.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching mathematics.
  • Familiarity with the British A-level curriculum is preferred.
