Job Title: Senior Heat Transfer Engineer - Brazed-Plate Heat Exchanger Development

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Heat Transfer Engineer to join our Heat Transfer & Fluid Mechanics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the technology development of brazed-plate heat exchangers (BPHE) through technology exploration, product development for new markets or applications, and democratization of existing technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop models for existing technology or applications, evaluating heat exchanger and system design optimization for new applications.
  • Develop laboratory test capacity and capability according to the technology roadmap and business needs.
  • Conduct research and study on new technology through literature review, simulation, and experimentation.
  • Lead New Product Development (NPD) projects, estimating schedule, cost, risks, process, and manufacturing tool.
Technology & Innovation:

Accelerate innovative concept transformation into new technology and new products.

Experimental Validation:

Perform calculation, simulation, data evaluation, regression analysis, and polynomial formulation.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in heat exchangers and/or two-phase thermodynamics.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Understanding of Heat Exchanger thermodynamics, especially evaporators and condensers.
  • Design of Experiments.
  • Two-phase flow modeling.
  • Lab testing of units and/or components.
  • Basic scripting capabilities (preferably VBA or Python or Matlab).
  • Dymola modeling.
  • System level understanding for Chillers and/or Heat Pumps.
