Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Demi Chef to join our Pastry & Bakery team at the Park Hyatt Ningbo. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut and prepare various meats and vegetables according to established specifications.
• Cook food in quantities according to menu and number of persons to be served, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
• Collect supplies from stores and maintain accurate records and accounts.
• Organize the storage of dry goods and vegetables, ensuring efficient use of space and minimizing waste.
• Prepare food that reflects the style and concept of our outlet, adhering to strict quality and presentation standards.
• Adhere to the food apportionment policy to control costs and maintain profitability.
• Follow established methods of food preparation and cooking, portion sizes, and garnishing to ensure consistency and quality.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and adhere to the Hotel Hygiene policy, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for guests and colleagues.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean and well-maintained at all times.
• Report any malfunction or breakdown of food production machines in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuity of service.
• Adhere to the food safety management system requirements, ensuring compliance with hotel and local government regulations in daily operations.
