Job Title: Ramp Up Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Ramp Up Project Manager to join our team at Mercedes-Benz Group China Ltd. in Beijing. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful launch of new products and processes in our plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project management plans to ensure timely and efficient launch of new products and processes.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to drive launch and ramp-up projects, ensuring alignment with plant targets and strategies.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with global partners and lead plants to ensure global exchange and knowledge sharing.
  • Lead product and process maturity increase activities, identifying major risks and initiating additional management activities to enhance product and process maturity.
  • Ensure production qualification by transferring professional product knowledge to production teams and guiding them to define new type launch training plans.
  • Coach RLM team engineers with MDS/MPS knowledge and skills for project management and PSP method and tools.

Requirements:

  • University degree or above in a relevant field, such as vehicle engineering or mechanical engineering.
  • Work experience in a plant environment, preferably in a project management role.
  • Good computer skills and familiarity with office software.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Low coding skills preferred.
