Industrial Process Optimization Specialist

About the Role:

Hasbro is embarking on a Supply Chain Transformation, and we are seeking an Industrial Process Optimization Specialist to drive focus on productivity, value creation, and eliminating waste. As a key member of our Industrial Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to implement Lean methodology and Design to Value to assess, audit, and evaluate current processes, identifying potential gaps and waste. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to implement effective change, maximizing value and reducing variation.

Responsibilities:

Lean Practitioner and Change Agent

  • Lead strategic Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, and quick hit projects from definition through execution, coordinating cross-functional resources and collaborating with external suppliers.
  • Drive labor efficiency through deployment of global industrial engineering process, tools, and standards.

Excellent Communication and Training Skills

  • Develop and deliver training to all levels of the organization, building the skills of functional leaders and associates through hands-on interactions and personal mentoring in Lean management tools.
  • Communicate effectively with internal customers, leading to buy-in and positive outcomes with continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Establish metrics and report on progress, achievements, and results, including executive-level reporting and management updates.

Analytical Problem Solver

  • Use data to drive problem-solving, prioritizing issues and finding the best business approach.
  • Develop and execute project plans using strong project management skills.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years' experience in Lean-focused organizations, with experience in planning and leading Kaizen events.
  • Strong proficiency in Lean methodology, principles, and tools, such as Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen.
  • Plant Industrial Engineering and manufacturing operations experience preferred, ideally in consumer product goods or food/beverage.
  • Maintain strong time management, prioritization, and organization skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across functional audiences.
  • Detailed knowledge of MS Office, including Visio process mapping experience.
  • Fluent in English is mandatory; multi-lingual skills are preferred.
  • Frequent travel to supplier sites is required.
