Autonomous Vehicle Route Planning Optimization Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Autonomous Vehicle Route Planning Optimization Expert to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies that will shape the future of transportation.
About the Role:
This exciting opportunity is part of our Intelligent Connected Vehicle-V2X wireless communication application project. As an expert in route planning optimization, you will play a crucial role in enriching the performance of our route planning module to support a sensor sharing based speed optimization module.
Main Responsibilities:
- Research and develop optimized models for efficient route planning and optimize algorithms for real-time traffic prediction.
- Design experiments for idea validation and conduct experimental data analysis using instrumented vehicles and simulators.
- Prove and analyze the feasibility and usefulness of modeling in decision-making/planning modules of autonomous driving vehicles within simulation platforms and field tests.
- Conduct thorough research on environment assessment, real traffic world modeling, and virtualization including static environments and dynamic driving scenarios, driver behavior, traffic patterns, etc.
Requirements:
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, Math, or other technical specialization areas.
- Expertise in V2X communication and Edge Computing technologies.
- Strong software development skills in C/C++/Python under Linux environments with proven ability to deliver high-quality software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience in prototyping algorithms, implementing, and testing on vehicles and simulators.
