Job Summary:

As a Shift Supervisor with INVISTA, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians to commission and operate the plant facilities safely and efficiently. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage a team, execute production and maintenance plans, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of technicians to commission and operate the plant facilities safely and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement production and maintenance plans to meet production objectives and performance metrics.
  • Provide leadership during emergency response situations and ensure the safety of team members.
  • Oversee training and development of team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Investigate production performance gaps and develop corrective actions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure high standards of safe work conditions and housekeeping of the facilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (or technical equivalent).
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the chemical industry, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience in process operations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to adapt to shift work and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • English language proficiency (CET 4 or higher preferred).
