Responsibilities

  • Collect and summarize market intelligence on mega trends, competitions, regulations, new technologies, and other relevant factors.
  • Develop and implement segment strategies for the Electronics and Energy (E&E) markets.
  • Proactively build technical relationships within key accounts and promote material solutions to target segments and customers.
  • Explore and identify business opportunities at customers in China and drive these opportunities toward sales by working with internal functions teams and external value chain partners.
  • Support sales in account planning and execution, and specify material solutions at the Original Design Manufacturer (ODM)/Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or other target customers in the value chain.
  • Identify unmet needs and work with functional teams on New Product Development (NPD) activities to support business growth.
  • Summarize and share success cases for translation at other customers or in other regions.

Qualifications

  • Work from Northern China (Tianjin, Beijing, Qingdao).
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree or above in a technical field.
  • Have 3-10 years of commercial role experience in the plastic industry.
  • Have in-depth understanding of plastics and their applications.
  • Have good business acumen and be customer-focused and result-oriented.
  • Be a team player with strong communication skills and the ability to influence/lead in a matrix environment.
  • Take ownership of assigned segments and customers.
  • Have strong self-motivation to achieve growth targets.
  • Have critical thinking and the ability to prioritize competing tasks.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Have good knowledge of the E&E and related applications.
  • Familiar with the E&E value chain and key players.
  • Have strong new market development capabilities.
  • Have excellent project management skills.
