Job Title: Ombuds Service Analyst

Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank AIIB is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ombuds Service Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the Ombudsperson and the Office of the Ombudsperson (OMB) in various aspects of conflict resolution and staff support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and hosting of the Mediation Scheme by collecting and analyzing benchmarking information from other international organizations, developing and managing a mediation log system, coordinating with external mediators, and promoting the mediation services in AIIB.
  • Conduct research on topics pertinent to conflict resolution and organizational management to support the enhancement of OMB services.
  • Support the planning and execution of OMB events, including training, awareness-raising, and outreach to foster a culture of constructive conflict resolution.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of independent data collection and analytics systems to provide insightful reporting on OMB activities.
  • Prepare reports for the Ombudsperson to present to the Management and the AIIB Board/Committee, as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from a reputable university, preferably in conflict resolution, psychology, counseling, law, management, social sciences, or related fields.
  • Understanding of ombuds, mediation, and staff grievance mechanisms in international organizations. A certificate or training in related fields would be advantageous.
  • At least 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience. Experience in a multinational organization and/or a multicultural environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct research and prepare reports and documents.
  • Proven skills and experience in organizing events and training.

  • Discretion and experience working in highly confidential environments, and ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented. Ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent command of oral and written English. Proficiency in Mandarin would be an advantage.
