Associate Professor in Supply Chain Management

We are seeking a highly qualified Associate Professor in Supply Chain Management to join our faculty at the School of Intelligent Finance and Business, XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang). The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate students, conducting research, and contributing to the development of the school's research agenda.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate students in supply chain management and related areas
- Conduct research in supply chain management and related areas, with a focus on innovative and industry-enhanced research
- Develop and manage research partnerships with industry, academic institutions, and other external organizations
- Engage actively with new educational models and embrace innovative, interactive, technology-enhanced learning, teaching, and assessment approaches
- Contribute to the school's teaching development through mentoring and supporting early career academics
- Undertake any other appropriate tasks assigned by the Entrepreneur College or University through the Dean of School or College Senior Management Team
- PhD degree in supply chain management, operation management, business analytics, information system management, or management science, or equivalent professional practice and engagement
- Self-motivated for innovative teaching
- Clear understanding of the philosophy and concept of Syntegrative Education
- Demonstrable past teaching/industry experiences or practices aligned with Syntegrative Education (SE)
- Ability to work, teach, and research in English
- Strong team-work spirit
- Good track record of engagement with business and industry
- University-level teaching experience
- Relevant industry experience
- Appropriate research experience, including working with industry, for the corresponding academic position level
- Experience in intensive teaching and problem-based learning, and a willingness to be innovative in teaching practices
- Institutional builder, able to work with wider disciplines across the college
