Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and ensure compliance with China tax laws and regulations for 18 entities, including tax filing, CIT annual filing, TPD preparation, VAT export refund, and other tax-related matters.
  • Develop and implement tax planning and advisory strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize business operations.
  • Collaborate with global tax teams to ensure consistency in tax practices and compliance across regions.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team of tax professionals in China.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local tax authorities and external service providers.
  • Provide tax advisory services to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in Chinese tax laws and regulations, and ensure compliance with all relevant requirements.

Requirements:

  • Over 10 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory, with a strong background in Chinese tax laws and regulations.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective tax planning and advisory strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex tax issues.
  • Fluency in both oral and written English, with a strong understanding of Chinese tax laws and regulations.

Working Conditions:

  • Work location: Changchun or Shanghai.
  • Salary: Negotiable.
