About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Assurance Support Analyst to join our team at Molex. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support new program launches by closely communicating with the sales team and ensuring that customer demand is clearly understood.
  • Work with the demand planning team to develop a planning strategy that supports the new program ramp.
  • Communicate with the manufacturing plant to ensure that the planning strategy is being executed.
  • Verify that capacity is sufficient to meet customer demand and work with the plant to resolve any capacity issues.
  • Effectively communicate with the sales, demand planning, and manufacturing teams on significant demand changes and react accordingly to meet customer requirements.
  • Regularly review the new program status with related parties, identify obstacles and barriers, and work with responsible parties to resolve them.
  • Regularly report the new program status to the customer service and sales teams.
  • Support key product series by tracking customer and market demand changes and ensuring that they are aligned with the demand plan.
  • Regularly check the demand and supply status on key product series and identify any supply issues in the mid to long term.
  • Represent the global sales management team in working with the product division on supply issues that cannot be met by the demand plan.
  • Regularly review and analyze customer expediting records in Salesforce to identify supply gaps and drive improvement.
  • Participate in the GSOP&E process and work with the team on a monthly cadence.
  • Highlight potential supply issues to the network supply planner in advance and seek proactive actions.
  • Suggest supply strategies on key products to support customers' future demand.
  • Share demand and supply knowledge with the sales and customer service teams.
  • Optimize supply on supply limitations by collecting minimum customer demand from customer service and sales teams and representing the global sales management team in optimizing the plant's output.
  • Work with the plant planner to prioritize output of different part numbers and prioritize supply quantity to meet customer absolute minimum requirements.
  • Highlight customer line down/shortage to the plant and work for a solution promptly.
  • Collaborate with the network supply planner and global product manager on capacity expansion and resolve supply shortages rapidly.

Requirements

  • Diploma in a related area of study or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in planning, sales, or customer services.
  • Experience with SAP, BW.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills to work effectively and persuade others.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
