Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality standards, monitoring supplier quality performance, and identifying opportunities for process improvements in welding supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement quality standards and procedures specific to welding materials and processes in the supply chain.
- Monitor supplier quality performance, including conducting audits, evaluations, and periodic reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in welding supply chain operations to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.
- Lead or participate in projects aimed at optimizing welding processes and materials to improve product quality.
- Provide training and guidance to supply chain team members on quality-related topics.
- Develop and implement quality control plans and inspection protocols for welding materials and components.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer-specific requirements related to welding.
- Prepare detailed quality reports, metrics, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- At least 7 years of experience in SQE&D.
- Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written.
