Software Engineer for Autonomous Vehicles

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our DRIVE Context Fusion team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and guiding the future of our autonomous driving solution for driving on fused signals between map and perception.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop core functionality for autonomous driving in all geographies based on state-of-the-art perception DNNs and map information.
- Design and integrate algorithmic solutions into the core of NVIDIA AV.
- Design and implement large-scale quality-measurement algorithms for in-car fusion algorithms.
- Handle real-time system signals in the car running all over the world.
- Write safe embedded software code to run in real-time systems.
- Develop highly efficient product code in C++ and make use of algorithmic parallelism offered by GPGPU programming (CUDA).
- Produce code and designs following automotive quality and safety standards.
- Evaluate new driving features on the road in an OEM test vehicle.
- 5+ years of Software industry work experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong C++ development skills.
- Passion for robotics and autonomous vehicles.
- Drive to learn new things and tackle meaningful problems.
- Outstanding communication and cross-team collaboration.
- Independent and analytical software engineering skills.
- Ability to work in both Chinese and English languages.
- Background in 3D geometry, computer vision, or state estimation algorithms like Kalman filters, particle filters.
- Software development on embedded or automotive platforms.
- Global-scale map processing and geographic information systems (GIS).
- Strong API and framework design skills.
- Experience with CUDA parallel programming.
