Job Title: Applications Engineer 2

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be a skilled Applications Engineer 2 with a strong understanding of analog and digital circuit fundamentals and methodologies. You will work closely with our timing customer applications engineering team to develop and implement timing jitter attenuator products designed into high-speed, high-performance clock designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance to customers by email, phone, and in-person visits to assist with design and programming activities.
  • Create, promote, and deliver technical sales training to field personnel.
  • Visit customer sites to provide technical backup for sales and marketing personnel.
  • Design, debug, and document demonstration and/or evaluation boards.
  • Support the IBIS modeling and validation for new product development.
  • Debug/test/document and share results of enhanced features in existing or future products.
  • Develop launch collateral for new products, including reference manuals, datasheets, test software features, and application notes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a technology-related bachelor's degree or equivalent training, and a master's degree is a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of analog and digital circuit, signal and system fundamentals and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of phase locked loops (PLL), control systems, or serial transceivers experience.
  • Knowledge of signal integrity issues, simulations, and familiarity with EDA tools such as HyperLynx.
  • Schematic capture and PCB design skills, and familiarity with EDA tools such as Cadence.
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills in both Mandarin and English.
