Bose is a leader in the audio industry, and we're looking for a skilled Software Validation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and generate test reports to ensure the highest quality of our products.
  • Design and develop automation scripts to streamline our testing process and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with developers to debug customer issues and resolve defects.
  • Manage and maintain our defects database to track and resolve issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve defects.
  • Develop and manage validation schedules to meet project demands.
  • Participate in requirements reviews, design reviews, and other development process activities.
  • Design and maintain test infrastructure for automation test suites.
  • Lead validation activities for offshore teams.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in software development and testing.
  • Proficiency in developing automation test scripts with Python.
  • Knowledge of C/C++, MatLab, and Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of Digital Signal Processing and experience with automotive networks.
  • Familiarity with Lean process and project management skills.
  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (preferred).
  • Fluency in English language (verbal and written) to communicate effectively with staff, suppliers, and customers.
