Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analytical Chemist to join our team at QIMA. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new chemical tests, conducting research and analysis, and providing technical support to our global team.

Responsibilities

* Develop and implement new chemical tests and methods to meet market needs and client requirements
* Conduct in-depth research and analysis on new chemical methods and technologies
* Collaborate with our QIMA chemical labs to develop and validate new chemical tests
* Build and maintain uncertainty models of chemical tests and provide quality control criteria
* Assist in preparing technical documents, such as standard operating procedures and worksheets
* Perform data analysis and assist the lab operation team with analytical rectification
* Operate and maintain analytical instruments, including GC/MS, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, and LC/MS
* Provide technical training to the operation team and other parties as needed

Requirements

* BSc or above in Chemistry-related subjects, such as Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or Analytical Science
* Recognized international qualifications related to the TIC industry or scientific research are an advantage
* Familiarity with ISO 17025 quality systems and accreditation requirements
* Excellent communication and analytical skills
* Advanced knowledge of analytical instruments, including AAS, GC/MS, LC/MS, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, and UV-VIS
* Minimum 8 years of experience in a testing laboratory, with at least 3 years in R&D
* Strong analytical mind and logical thinking
* Initiative, organized, and able to work under pressure
