Senior Analytics Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated analytics expert to join our team at Amazon Information Service (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (Shanghai Branch). As a key member of the Sales organization, you will work closely with Sales, Product, Retail teams, and external ads customers to drive business growth and improve customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Leverage Amazon's vast data assets to develop analytical insights and recommendations for Sales teams and advertisers.
- Own advertiser-level analytics conversations, presenting findings and insights in a consultative manner to C-suite advertiser leaders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide a complete solution, leveraging data-driven guidance to inform marketing initiatives.
- Demonstrate expertise in Amazon's proprietary tools and metrics, driving innovation and evolution in data analysis and communication.
- Exemplify Amazon's Leadership Principles in all interactions and decision-making.
The Analytics & Insights team is a critical component of the Amazon Ads Sales organization, providing analytics-driven Sales enablement support and insights-based consulting for advertisers. We innovate to stay ahead of industry trends, catering to diverse advertiser/agency needs and enabling scaling of insights through strategic partnerships with product and engineering teams.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Ability to write complex SQL queries, extract and manipulate data, and create new measures and metrics.
- Fluency in Python, R, SAS, or other statistical programming languages.
- Solid understanding of Data Science and Marketing Science subjects, including regression, hypothesis testing, and audience analysis.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex analysis to stakeholders and C-suite level advertisers.
- Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin and English; fluency in Japanese is a plus.
