Treasury Vice President - Liquidity Risk Management Expert

At Huatai Securities, we are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Vice President to lead our liquidity risk management efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing effective cash flow calculation and prediction models for our derivatives business.
  • Performing liquidity stress testing, reviewing methodologies and results, and improving scenario and models to ensure robust risk management.
  • Assessing new business or product liquidity risk, providing control opinions and measures to mitigate potential risks.
  • Designing and monitoring liquidity risk control indicators and early warning systems, setting limits to maintain liquidity risk within acceptable levels.
  • Contributing to the review and improvement of our existing liquidity risk management policies and manual.
  • Leading the company's liquidity risk emergency response efforts, formulating emergency plans and conducting drills to ensure preparedness.
  • Assisting in the development of our liquidity risk management system.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or above in finance, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in at least one data analysis language, such as Matlab, R, Python, or Excel VBA.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in liquidity risk management, market risk management, or counterparty risk management, preferably in counterparty risk management.
  • Solid knowledge of risk management methods and financial products, particularly derivatives (TRS, futures, options, IRS, FX) and structured products pricing and key risk factors.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in liquidity risk management by CSRC, HK SFC, and HKMA.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional qualification in CFA or FRM is preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
