Xi an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) is a unique international education experience, offering students the skills and knowledge they need to secure careers in a global marketplace.
Established in 2006 by the University of Liverpool and Xi an Jiaotong University, a top ten university in China, XJTLU brings together excellent research practice and expertise from both institutions.
The university has over 25,000 enrolled students in both Suzhou and Liverpool in the UK, with plans to grow to about 28,000 students by 2025. There are currently about 2,000 staff, among which about 1,000 academic staff, with an almost even split between citizens of the People's Republic of China and international passport holders.
XJTLU offers its undergraduates and postgraduates over 100 programmes with a diverse spectrum of courses.
About School of Advanced TechnologyThe School of Advanced Technology has five departments: intelligent Science, Computing, Mechatronics and Robotics, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Communications and Networking.

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Academic Professor in Communications and Networking to join our faculty at XJTLU.
This is a tenure-track position that requires a PhD in EEE or cCS or a closely aligned area and PG Cert HE or equivalent.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching typically two modules/courses per year, providing leadership in curriculum development, enhancing our research profile at the international level, and assuming administrative responsibilities based on their experience.

- Fluency in English
The salary for this position is competitive, ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
XJTLU provides various month/annual/one-off allowances, commercial insurance, paid holidays, working visa and residence permit in China, and a clear career development path with annual review.
XJTLU also supports all faculty members to apply for national, province, and city-level programs.
