We are seeking a highly skilled Primary School Principal to lead our IB-Authorized School in Beijing. This is a full-time position that will start in the upcoming academic year. Our school is a private K12 Institution that offers boarding and day school facilities, catering to students in primary, middle, and high school levels. Our community consists of over 500 staff from diverse countries and regions, with 75 classes and over 2000 students.

About the Role

The successful candidate will oversee the development and implementation of primary school curricula, ensuring alignment with IB Standards and local regulations. They will manage and provide leadership to a team of primary school teachers, supporting their professional growth and development. Additionally, they will develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operation of the primary school.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement primary school curricula that align with IB Standards and local regulations.
  • Manage and lead a team of primary school teachers, providing support for their professional growth and development.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the efficient operation of the primary school.
  • Collaborate with other school leaders to ensure the smooth operation of the school.
  • Built strong partnerships with parents and other stakeholders in the education community.
  • Ensure the school environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning.
  • Champion academic and character development programs that promote students' success.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience as a primary school principal or equivalent leadership position in an international primary school setting.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in an IB School.
  • A Master's degree or higher in Education or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
  • A deep understanding of the PYP Curriculum and education technology.
  • Experience in teacher development, recruitment, and retention.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
