Job Description

This position is ideal for an experienced electrical inspection specialist looking to join a dynamic team in the crane manufacturing industry. As a Quality Assurance Expert, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of electrical installations and testing at various manufacturers' facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site electrical inspections to ensure compliance with project technical specifications, design drawings, and relevant industry standards.
  • Serve as the QA Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for specific projects, facilitating communication between stakeholders and ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Collaborate with the Head of the QA Department to finalize Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), guaranteeing that quality inspections are conducted according to the ITP.
  • Work closely with the CES site QA Team Leader or QA Manager to develop and implement working hours, overtime, holidays, and leave schedules.
  • Monitor and report Non-Conformances related to major deviations from Contract, Specification, Design, or Standards.
  • Submit Punch List items requiring rectification work from manufacturers or suppliers.
  • Participate in supplier audit and quality management meetings, taking on a leadership role when necessary.
  • Filing and submitting all QA records and documents to the CES Project QA SPOC or Site QA Team Leader/Manager.
  • Prepare and submit timely inspection results and records to the CES Project QA SPOC.
  • In cases where assigned as Project QA SPOC, prepare project QA reports and submit them to CES Project Managers on a required basis.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in electrical inspection within the crane manufacturing industry.
  • Working experience with third-party inspection companies, crane manufacturing companies, or terminals is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of internationally recognized electrical drive systems such as SIEMENS, ABB, or TIEMAC is beneficial.
Working Conditions:

This role requires the ability to work in harsh industrial environments, including heavy industry facilities and terminal sites. Physical fitness is essential for performing inspections in various settings, including heights and confined spaces. The successful candidate will be willing to undertake domestic and international business travel as scheduled by the company.
