Job Title: Classification Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Classification Specialist to join our team at Expeditors. As a Classification Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert classification advice to our clients, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert classification advice to clients, including identifying HS codes, writing Standard Declaration Elements, and justifying classification decisions.
• Conduct research and analysis to update China Customs regulations and policies applicable to clients.
• Lead education and training sessions for client personnel, suppliers, and customers to support classification programs.
• Support classification audit to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Communicate with clients to report mutual agreed Key Performance Index (KPI) regularly and to close potential compliance issues.

Requirements:

• Good Bachelor's degree or above.
• Preferably with more than 2 years of relevant working experience in Customs classification or equivalent experience.
• Preferably with degree in Biology, Chemical, Materials, or Mechanical & Electrical.
• Customs HS Classification Licenses for either M&E or Non-M&E is required.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Open mind and pro-active.
• Flexible working hour is required.
