Job Specific Tasks and Duties

This section lists the job-specific tasks and duties, that are completed on a regular basis by the employee.

Strictly follow the mutual agreed classification process and timeline with new and existing clients, including participating internal training of Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) and technical knowledge respective etc. Conduct timely response on customer’s classification inquires by identifying HS code, writing Standard Declaration Element (SDE), writing classification justification, and identifying import and export license Communicate with client to report mutual agreed Key Performance Index (KPI) regularly and to close (potential) compliant if any Support classification consultancy projects by providing technical knowledge Support classification audit to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and provide regular reporting of compliance metrics Lead the research and analysis to update China Customs regulations and policies applicable to clients Lead education and training as necessary to client personnel, their suppliers and customers to support classification programs

Qualifications

Good Bachelor’s degree or above Preferably with more than 2 years of relevant working experience in Customs classification or equivalent experience Preferably with degree in Biology, Chemical, Materials, or Mechanical & Electrical Customs HS Classification Licenses for either M&E or Non-M&E is required Excellent English communication skills Open mind and pro-active Flexible working hour is required
