Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Security Engineer to strengthen Zoom's security infrastructure in the rapidly evolving AI domain. This role is crucial to our engineering security team and requires close collaboration with our cutting-edge AI team. As an AI Security Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing AI security posture through thorough security assessments, strategic advice, and leading automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct comprehensive security evaluations of AI functionality, models, and datasets using advanced techniques such as threat modeling, code analysis, and penetration testing.
  2. Identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and threats to ensure the robustness and integrity of AI systems.
  3. Provide expert guidance and actionable recommendations to enhance the security resilience of AI infrastructure.
  4. Collaborate closely with AI engineers and relevant teams to implement effective security controls, protocols, and best practices tailored to AI applications.
  5. Promote the automation and standardization of AI system security review processes.
  6. Develop innovative tools, scripts, and workflows to simplify security assessments, accelerate response times, and improve overall efficiency.
  7. Continuously evaluate and integrate cutting-edge technologies and methods to stay ahead of emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
  8. Work closely with privacy, legal, and DevOps teams to ensure comprehensive review and compliance, ensuring security considerations are integrated throughout the entire development lifecycle.
  9. Contribute to our AI domain training programs, developing and providing training materials, workshops, and practices.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance/Security, Network Security, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  2. 4+ years of experience in a security role, with a proven track record of successfully protecting complex IT environments. Demonstrate expertise in conducting security assessments, risk analysis, and remediation across various technical stacks.
  3. Deep understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, algorithms, and frameworks. Proficiency in evaluating security risks associated with AI/ML applications, including data privacy, model robustness, and adversarial attacks.
  4. Programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C++, with a focus on secure development practices. Experience with security tools and frameworks like OWASP, NIST is a plus.
  5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. A proactive and enthusiastic attitude, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
